Lydia used to tell how he was proud that women could work from home, ensuring them their own income. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Feodor Sr. died in Paris on the 29th of June in 1936, after making Alexandra the manager on June the 22nd. He remembered how he lived in a cottage behind Alexandra&#8217;s house in Draveil, was often drinking and &#8216;strange. Not normal.&#8217; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He died in 1965 in Chelles, Seine-et-Marne. He is buried in the Russian cemetery Sainte-Genevieve-des-Bois. Ekatarina re-married Leon Bogolmotz and I still remember them, in their cosy tiny apartment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When Leon was in the hospital, aunt Katya had a car accident on her way to him and died on October 19th, 1982 and is buried in the Russian cemetery Sainte-Genevieve-des-Bois.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dmitri<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"373\" height=\"459\" src=\"https:\/\/the-kamendrovsky-archives.site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/Dimitri-portret.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-163\" srcset=\"https:\/\/the-kamendrovsky-archives.site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/Dimitri-portret.jpg 373w, https:\/\/the-kamendrovsky-archives.site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/Dimitri-portret-244x300.jpg 244w, https:\/\/the-kamendrovsky-archives.site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/Dimitri-portret-49x60.jpg 49w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 373px) 100vw, 373px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>All information about Dmitry I have from my grandmother Lydia Kamendrovsky and my father Nikolai van der Heyde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dmitry was my grandmother&#8217;s favourite brother. He married a Belgian woman, gaining Belgian citizenship. According to my father, his wife didn&#8217;t like the family. I don&#8217;t think there was much contact after the marriage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He died in Brussels on April 11th 1971. I don&#8217;t know what happened to him after his death.
