She was issued a passport to travel to Danzig. But since she was only 7 years old, her uncle Aleksey Kamendrovsky, who was 14 at the time, was given a passport and visa to accompany her, supposedly to return. But of course they never returned. They lived in Jackson Heights, New York, where I also met Marina. Leonid died on October 30th, 1995.
