The Virga Estate

The Kamendrovsky family had built a large house of pine trunks on a high foundation. The house was not far from the post office, roughly where the boiler room nowadays stands. In the territory of the post office, in the courtyard, in a small two-story brick building (now there is a post office) there was an energy installation that lit the Kamendrovsky house and a small square around it.

The Factories

From 1887 onwards, Kamendrovsky began to mechanize the production of matches sequentially. A stone building was built, a wooden boiler house, a locomotive and woodworking machines were purchased and installed.
