All information about Feodor Sr. I have from my grandmother Lydia Kamendrovsky and my father Nikolai van der Heyde. Lydia used to tell how he was proud that women could work from home, ensuring them their own income.
Feodor Sr. died in Paris on the 29th of June in 1936, after making Alexandra the manager on June the 22nd. He is buried in the Russian cemetery Sainte-Genevieve-des-Bois.
Moeder: Elena Fedorovna Derbeneva

1940
All information about Elena ‘Mother’ I have from my grandmother Lydia Kamendrovsky and my father Nikolai van der Heyde.
Elena died in Paris during the war, on the third of April in 1944 and is buried in the Russian cemetery Sainte-Genevieve-des-Bois.
Ivan

All information about Ivan I have from my father Nikolai van der Heyde. He remembered how he lived in a cottage behind Alexandra’s house in Draveil, was often drinking and ‘strange. Not normal.’
He died in 1965 in Chelles, Seine-et-Marne. As far as I know, there is no grave.
Vladimir

All information about Vladimir I have from my grandmother Lydia Kamendrovsky and my father Nikolai van der Heyde.
In Paris, Vladimir married Ekaterina Nikolaievna Semenoff, of whom we would take tons of pictures.
He died in Paris on April 16th, 1964. He is buried in the Russian cemetery Sainte-Genevieve-des-Bois. Ekatarina re-married Leon Bogolmotz and I still remember them, in their cosy tiny apartment.
When Leon was in the hospital, aunt Katya had a car accident on her way to him and died on October 19th, 1982 and is buried in the Russian cemetery Sainte-Genevieve-des-Bois.
Dmitri

All information about Dmitry I have from my grandmother Lydia Kamendrovsky and my father Nikolai van der Heyde.
Dmitry was my grandmother’s favourite brother. He married a Belgian woman, gaining Belgian citizenship. According to my father, his wife didn’t like the family. I don’t think there was much contact after the marriage.
He died in Brussels on April 11th 1971. I don’t know what happened to him after his death. Since his wife gave her body to research, I think that is what must have happened to him.
